FAQ
Direct answers about NewCo Home, our process, and the projects we deliver across Utah.
How much does a Utah bathroom remodel cost in 2026?
Powder bath refresh: $6k–$15k. Secondary bath: $18k–$45k. Primary bath remodel: $55k–$150k. Primary suite expansions with steam, custom millwork, and structural changes: $150k–$400k+.
Tub-shower combo or separate tub and shower?
In primary baths, almost always separate. A freestanding tub plus a generous walk-in shower reads luxury and resells better than a single tub-shower. In secondary baths, keep the tub-shower combo for resale and family use.
Do I need heated floors?
Worth it in primary baths. Utah winter mornings on cold tile are why nearly every Park City / Heber primary bath we build includes electric mat radiant under the tile floor. Cost is modest at rough-in; impossible to add later.
What's the best shower size for a Utah primary bath?
Minimum 4 ft × 5 ft for a single-user walk-in. 5 ft × 7 ft for dual rain head with bench. Curbless entry with linear drain reads the most modern and is the easiest to clean.
